Abstract
The current research aims to identify (knowing the role of social control institutions in reducing the phenomenon of student cheating) and in order to achieve the research goal, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach as a method for research, and the researchers identified all parents of students in the city of Samawah - Iraq, and the sample size was (100) From the parents of the students, and after reviewing the previous literature, the research tool was prepared consisting of (20) paragraphs distributed over (5) areas, namely (religion, socialization, customs, traditions and customs, reward and punishment, law), which were applied to the research sample and in the light of Results The researcher reached a number of results, the most important of which are as follows:
