Abstract
Environmental poetry contrasts with the traditional nature poetry in our Arab heritage (Abbasid poetry as a model). On exploitation, depletion and human supremacy. As for nature poetry, it is mostly descriptive poetry of nature, and it may be taken as a metaphor, symbol or analogy that adorns their poetic images.
