Abstract
Environmental poetry contrasts with the traditional nature poetry in our Arab heritage (Abbasid poetry as a model). On exploitation, depletion and human supremacy. As for nature poetry, it is mostly descriptive poetry of nature, and it may be taken as a metaphor, symbol or analogy that adorns their poetic images. However, nature poetry intersects with environmental poetry by observing the elements of nature in the act of writing, which indicates a deep awareness of its importance and appreciation for it until it occupied a large part From my poetic image, Abbasid nature poetry, through ecological critical reading, shows a quest to strengthen our relationship with the non-human other, and consider it a measure of the original features that human actions and humans resemble
