Abstract
The issue of minorities is one of the important issues, because they have been suffering from forced violations by terrorist groups, which have occupied many areas, not only in Iraq, but in many countries of the region. The increasing local and global awareness of the rights of minorities prompted many of these minorities to demand their rights, especially after 2003, whether in the field of their participation in the political process and political decision-making or through integrating them with the societal fabric as a whole, as minorities suffered from great injustice in their social and political rights as well The failure to prove its existence in the political process due to the differences between all components, ideological, political or ethnic differences, which led to the occurrence of many ethnic and sectarian conflicts in the country
