Abstract
Al-Mufaddal bin Omar is one of the important and few personalities that Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) relied on. He was his legal representative and one of the narrators of the text on his son, Imam Musa bin Jaafar (peace be upon him) After the death of Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) He became a lieutenant of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) and was his legal representative until the death of Mufaddal ibn Omar al-Jahfi.
