Abstract
This research paper discussed the vocabulary diversity of narrative style in the collection of stories composed by Iraqi story writer Ali Al-Sibai: under the title of “banat alkhaibat:(unlucky disappointed daughters” that contain two stories: “prey dressed in joy” and “wooden swords”.
