Abstract

Cancer still constitutes the most dangerous disease among the health diseases in the world, due to the lack of a definitive treatment for it. It is noticeable that the Muthanna governorate, like the regions of Iraq and the other world, other countries witnessed a gradual increase in cancerous infections, and the research showed the importance of the geographical distribution to detect the increase in cancerous cases, through the time dimension in the patterns of annual changes during the period (2009-2018), even if it witnessed a variation in some years. Shedding light on the spatial disparity of cancerous injuries in the administrative units, as it appeared that there is a spatial disparity of cancerous injuries among the governorate units, as well as a discrepancy in the types of cancer diseases between those units in the number of their injuries, their proportions, and the strength of their spatial concentration. The city of Samawah, the least of which is colon cancer (99), and there are types whose injuries are low, so it is less common and may be issued by liver disease (29) injuries in the city of Samawah, and the most injuries were concentrated in Samawah, and the spatial strength was high because it is above the average and lower than it in Rumaitha. The increase in injuries and between the subjective, behavioral and environmental factors, especially the environmental pollution that increased throughout the governorate
