Abstract
Iran is one of the most countries that approved these laws and restricted them to some extent, especially after the success of the prominent constitutional revolution that resulted in the birth of the first law regulating journalistic work in 1908, to which several amendments were made in its paragraphs, ranging from amending some articles or canceling others, as well as after the fall of Reza Shah's regime, several amendments were made to the articles of the 1908 law regulating journalistic work until the country witnessed a complete change, the abolition of the old law of 1908 and the birth of another new law regulating the nature of journalistic work and revitalizing the role of oversight over that profession, as well as the adoption of a law that guarantees rights Publication and ownership, Therefore, the study focused on shedding light on these laws and their amendments, as well as addressing the most prominent of the members of the Iranian National Shura Council regarding these amendments, given that the National Shura Council is the only authority in the country through which most Laws apply, as well as considering that the members of the Council represent the supervisory authority on organizing and implementing these laws and the effectiveness of the executive authorities in applying them.
