Abstract
The research seeks to reveal the importance of textual relations in analyzing poetic texts, by examining the relationship (beauty and preference), which touches the most prominent semantic substitution relationships that the poet (Mahmoud Hassan Al-Warraq) used to enhance through them the features of his ascetic and moral poetry, indicating his opinion on life and existence. In an attempt to clarify this relationship and unveil it, and to reveal its continuity and the extent of its cohesion, and how it is frequently present in his poetic discourse, following the descriptive and analytical approach. The nature of the research required that it be based on an introduction and two axes, preceded by an introduction and followed by a conclusion with the most important results, and then the research sources and references were established.
