Abstract
The significance and influence of a State may change depending on a number of geographical factors, especially the size and quality of its natural resources and the extent of investment opportunities. The emergence of oil in such quantities in the UAE has led to the growing influence and role of the UAE, particularly after 2010. Hence the factors underlying the emergence of the UAE as a rising regional power will be addressed, through several axes dealing with the establishment of the UAE, and its influencing geographical, natural and human characteristics such as location, territory and population, and its geopolitical strengths such as oil and gas, foreign trade, gross domestic product, tourism, political decision-makers, foreign military presence, regional military and logistical. presence centers and soft power.
