Abstract
Mahmoud Muhammad Taha is one of the Arab thinkers who emerged during the twentieth century and since his birth in 1909 in the village of Heglig and a decline from a social environment with a Sufi culture to a move to the city of Rifaa for no education and from there he went to Gordon College, which represented a transition from rural Sufi culture to civil culture with Western influence, considering The faculty at Gordon College are mostly English or teachers in British schools, and it is natural for the student to be affected by the educational environment from which we draw his knowledge. In addition to that, the political situation in Sudan bore the character of British and Egyptian colonialism and marginalized the Sudanese in managing their country. This is why we find that Mahmoud Muhammad Taha carried his country’s concerns from a young age and worked to resist the occupation, but peacefully and not using violence.
