Abstract

The research was concerned with clarifying the geomorphological features of the drainage basin of Wadi Kreishka, located in northern Iraq, and it consists of three secondary basins. As for the third basin, it is considered the smallest of the secondary basins, and in terms of the morphological characteristics, it became clear that the main basin and its secondary basins, the second and the third, are distant from the rectangular shape, while the first basin is the most elongated secondary basin. , and the high rate of sediment transported by water erosion and the associated formation of landforms, and the main basin consisted of (6) river beds with a total number of (991) streams and a total length of (701) km 2, and the pattern of arboreal and orthogonal drainage in the basin was evident
