المقومات الجغرافية الطبيعية والبشرية لتنمية السياحة الأثرية في محافظة بغداد
Abstract
This research sheds light on the natural and human geographical potential for tourism development and the advancement of tourism in the province of Baghdad. During the presentation of these potentials, it was found that the geographical location gave the study area a distinctive personality, due to its mediation between the provinces of Iraq. The research dealt with the most important climatic elements affecting tourism development such as sunshine and temperatures Humidity, wind, and rain. The study also dealt with the role of the population, income level, and tourism facilities represented in accommodation, transportation, and tourism services by classification and geographical analysis, as well as customs and traditions and the role of the media in promoting and marketing archaeological tourism in the province of Baghdad. Tourist accommodation services are compared to other governorates such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, and cafés, but their distribution is not appropriate for archaeological sites.
