صورة الرجل في النقد النسوي الروائي العربي
Abstract
The research deals with the image of the man in the Arab feminist criticism of the novelist, and to identify how the Arab critic deals with this image that the novelist drew for him in her narrative text; The man has taken an important place in these feminist texts, as women have always suffered from abuse and marginalization by the patriarchal society, which has characterized them since ancient times as a sign of inferiority, while the man has been singled out for perfection, sitting on the throne of power for long periods during which women have suffered from injustice, abuse, and marginalization. ; Therefore, she sought to extract her right from her male counterpart - even on paper - by distorting the image of perfection that was drawn to him, dismantling his virility, and stripping him of everything that could give him distinction and superiority over her. To be able - finally - to be his equal, and sometimes even surpass him, and to be able to take control of matters after he had absolute leadership, which is what the Arab critic sought to reveal by tracing the feminist narrative productions to see how the masculine image was manifested within these outcomes.
