التحليل الجغرافي لشبكة الطرق في قضاء الرشيد لسنة 2020 باستخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية
Abstract
The research is a study of the road network in Al-Rasheed sub-district for the year 2020 using geographic information systems with description and quantitative analysis through the road distribution of roads and land roads, and measuring network interconnectedness as the beta index, the beta index, the gamma index, and the measure of the degree of centralization as the Quinn index, the Eta index, and the network density indicators. The research found several results, the most important of which is that the study area has a network of highways, main, secondary and rural, distributed spatially in a different way according to its importance, and that the road network is integrated, communicative and at a high degree of interdependence.
