Abstract

The research aims to analyze the content of the science books for the sixth grade primary in Iraq and Saudi Arabia according to the life skills standards. Because it is one of the most widely used units of analysis in content analysis, as it consisted of a tool of (6) major skills (environmental - food - health - preventive - first aid - conducting experiments and after conducting the statistical analysis, it was found that the science book in Iraq and Saudi Arabia does not exist. They were deficient in terms of including good life skills, but they were not at a good level. Lack of coordination between the topics of the science book. “Health Skills” ranked first in the Science Book in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, while the field of “First Aid” ranked last. In light of this, the researcher put a sentence Among the recommendations, I also suggest conducting subsequent studies to complement the research.
