Abstract
The research deals with grammatical and rhetorical patterns that indicate honor in the Holy Qur’an. As the research showed that there are grammatical and other rhetorical patterns employed by the Qur’anic expression to show the honor of some creatures such as the Messenger of God, prophets, angels and some other creatures. Among the most important rhetorical patterns are: introduction, repetition, remembrance, showing and paying attention. The research was divided into two parts, the first dealt with grammatical patterns and the other with rhetorical patterns, and the research presented verses for each of these patterns, presenting the sayings of the commentators in their significance to honor. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method.
