Abstract
The research deals with a political-geographical analysis of the Iraqi religious sects after 2003 and their impact on achieving peaceful coexistence, not the importance of this type of studies in light of global developments, and the growing interest in human rights and religious freedoms, given the dimensions that religious sects' problems have acquired, and the role they can play by including It serves national unity, with the aim of clarifying its concept, its size and spatial distribution in Iraq, the legislation that addressed its issues, and its contribution to political life. The level of ambition, and the research suggested amending some legislation, publishing and statistical data for each sect, and holding seminars and conferences that encourage peaceful coexistence among the people of the same nation.
