Abstract
Women represent half of society in promoting efforts aimed at achieving comprehensive development. Development depends on developing the contribution of both sexes - males and females - in its plans and programmes, and neglecting one of them constitutes a waste of human resources and the failure to achieve maximum benefit from them. Hence the importance of this study as an attempt to shed light on its developmental reality, which would affect its integration into work. Accordingly, the research showed a high percentage of economically active females with their high educational level, but the of their contribution to the labor force are low with spatial variation, as it is clear that the service sector attracts higher percentages, and one of the main reasons for the low contribution of females to work is the inability of the economy to absorb labor and provide opportunities It is appropriate to her and the indicators of the social view of women’s work outside the home, as well as their low percentages in positions of influence and decision-making, thus depriving them of making radical changes in labor and development policies, which calls for the need to find effective solutions for them to deepen women’s contribution to the labor market, activate their role in the development process, change wrong social practices and correct The negative stereotypes that detracts from its rights.
