Abstract
Each of the human societies distributed on the surface of the earth has its distinctive population characteristics for it in terms of composition and composition, and it is difficult for two societies with similar characteristics, which prompted many specialists in this field, including geographers, to pay attention to studying population characteristics and show their spatial differences to reach real results that can Reliance on them in various development projects, and this research came in the president's goal to reveal the reality of population characteristics in the Rumaitha district and its spatial contrast, and for the purpose of achieving this scientific necessity Required a division on three topics preceded by an introduction, as the first topic concerned By studying the size and growth of the population, As for the second topic, it included the reality of the spatial distribution of the population, while the third topic touched on the genre and age structure. The research concluded that there is a noticeable change in the population growth rates during the approved time period, as well as the variation in population density, and the high rates of type and dependency of the population. The research concluded a set of conclusions and recommendations.
