Abstract
The importance of the research, which focused on the reality of the infrastructure services for three basic and necessary services for the stability of the residents of the governorate’s countryside, is (the electrical power supply system, the motor vehicle network, the drinking water supply system). The field survey data that was conducted by the Muthanna Planning Directorate for all the villages The governorate (538) villages for the year 2020, In which the service infrastructure was studied in four axes, in addition to the conclusions and suggestions, the first axis dealt with the spatial distribution of the population and villages in Al-Muthanna Governorate, and the second axis studied the reality of electric power services, while the third axis dealt with the road network and its types, while the Fourth axis focused on the system Providing the rural population with safe drinking water, The research found that (47.9%) of the population do not depend on the national electricity network throughout the day, in addition to the low services of the transportation network and the drinking water network, which requires conducting studies that are planned according to specific time periods and addressing the abuses that occur on those services.
