Abstract

Benazir Bhutto's personality is one of the important political figures not only in Pakistan, but throughout the entire Asian continent. Being a living embodiment of the phenomenon of women political figures who held important executive positions in their countries, especially in South Asia, especially as they lead an important nuclear Islamic country such as Pakistan, and during a complex period of time that witnessed many important developments at the regional and global levels, such as the end of the events of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, and its collapse, and the world turned into a unipolar system, in addition to the internal challenges it faced in the economic and political fields. In this research, we shed light on its political role during its first government, and the internal challenges it faced, especially with the opposition and the presidency, and the resulting developments that ravaged in Pakistan.
