Abstract

This research intends to reconsider (stability and repetition) or circular motion in the Orientalist lesson related to the Holy Qur’an and the sources of revelation and prophethood, given that the researcher barely finds anything new in studying the classic or recent Orientalist sayings. The reason for this is not the shortcoming of components of the Orientalist method but the submission to the religious and intellectual ideology of the Orientalists, who often adopt the denial of the divine source of the Holy Qur’an and claim that The Holy Qur’an had been formed from a mixture of biblical knowledge (Jewish and Christian) with the surrounding cultures in the Arabian Peninsula or abroad to organized and reformulated based on the creative mindset of the Prophet Muhammad and his inner inspirations he pretends.
