Abstract
Since women represent half of society, half of the human resource, half of the contributors to development in all its sectors, and half of the beneficiaries, they are clearly concerned with the fruits of sustainable development so that they can perform their role in a realistic and real way. The research aims to identify sustainable development and its concept in general and women in the sustainable development agenda, identify their reality in sustainable development indicators in Iraq, identify the determinants that prevent the achievement of sustainable development, and develop a set of visions or perceptions that can contribute to empowering women in Iraq and achieving The goals of sustainable development in the year 2030, which represents the year of the goal, so the importance of this research lies as it represents an important tool for decision-makers in knowing the progress made in the field of sustainable development.
