Abstract

The aforementioned facts have stimulated intense competition in all fields between China - the promising economy - in the region and the United States - the traditional hegemon - to the extent that the region has recently witnessed an arms race between the two countries, which raised many fears about an armed clash whose repercussions would be It is dire, not only at the regional level, but also at the global level.
