Abstract
The idea of our research came during our mental formation, which suggests the existence of a communicative semiotic approach, between the concept of mental image in the Arab heritage (poetry, prose, rhetoric, jurisprudence, philosophy and logic) and the concept of the iconic image in contemporary reality in terms of the problematic formation and manifestation of each one of them. What prompted us to direct the compass of our critical detector, towards this complex and thorny problematic vocabulary, which many have repressed and still do; A request for scientific interest.
