Abstract

The oldest traditional markets such as the ceilings market and the carpenters and saffron marketIt enjoys easy access and a center for vehicle movement to all residential neighborhoods in the city of Samawah, as well as to neighboring cities.The study relied on The analytical method, as well as the field study And the research reached, hence the importance of the research in developing a vision for the central business district by clarifying the strengths and weaknesses and the potential opportunities and threats it faces, which contributes to treating the problems that the study area suffers from and working to develop it, which with its current planning cannot meet the needs of the residents of the city Samawah in particular and Muthanna Governorate in general, and then proposes appropriate planning policies for both residential and commercial land uses.
