Abstract
Some researchers rely on historical indice to prove their opinions in a historical problem, which gives the historical context its great importance in the historical research method as a tool of proof. In this research, an attempt is made to define the concept of the historical index, and then to identify the most important historical indices used by three contemporary historians: Israel Wolfensohn, Ahmed Sousse and Jawad Ali in a comparative study to their scientific endeavors to prove the origin of the Jews of the Arabian Peninsula, which is one of the historical problems of strategic importance Contemporary political and cultural as well as its historical importance.
