Abstract

The vowel sounds in Arabic are distinguished by the many transformations and changes that occur to them. In all of this, they are subject to phonetic and phonological laws that change their sound patterns and syllabic presence in the word; However, those patterns have not received an independent study that combines short and long ones, despite the large literature that has been written about them.
