Abstract
The Iraqi Communist Party is one of the aspects of progressive socialist ideology in Iraq, which was able to find a place for it on the intellectual arena. The first signs of the emergence of communism, the thought advocated by the party in an organized manner, go back to the twenties of the last century, when the Hussein al-Rahhal group 1924 appeared, which was considered the basic nucleus from which the party emerged The Communist Party representing communism, was able to exert a clear influence on the intellectual arena in Iraq, and it also succeeded in different periods of the history of intellectual life in becoming the dominant thought on the scene without the presence of a capable of compete with it. Perhaps this is due to the idealistic ideas proposed by communism and perhaps imaginatively fascinated The minds of the people who were suffering from poverty and injustice, and this made them lead after every voice calling for the disappearance of what they were suffering. The research came to shed light on the founding of the party and its state, its thought and the propositions it contained in the fields of political, economic and social life, in addition to highlighting its position on its contemporary intellectual trends, especially the religious trend.
