Abstract
The mechanism of the study requires the researcher who is engaged in the study of the history of the ancient East in general, or the history of ancient Iran in particular, to identify the archaeological and material sources, because in knowing and studying them, the picture is complete for the researcher, who tries as much as possible to capture the historical incident to draw the clearest pictures of it. From this angle, the importance of studying archaeological sources in the history of Iran in the Sassanid era with all studies of the ancient East in general and the study of the history of Iraq in particular, but that the matter is further than that, when studying the history of the Sassanid state, we find in it a lot from the history of ancient Iraq to take this state from its lands center and capital.
