Abstract

The increase in population in urban cities, especially in developing cities, has increased the demand for services, especially infrastructure services, as the research aims to spatially analyze infrastructure services, which included (water, electricity, sewage, communications, roads and bridges) and their spatial distribution and the extent of their efficiency and adequacy, and the study relied on the Descriptive, analytical and statistical method with the help of field study and personal interviews in order to explain and analyze the study problem, as well as using a number of maps and tables, and among the The most important results that the research has reached, Among the most important findings of the research, as the infrastructure services are characterized by their inefficiency, as the amount of deficit in water services reached (14,688,630 liters / person), and the deficit in electricity service amounted to (17,529,310 watts), while the service of roads and bridges, the amount of deficit amounted to (85, 28 hectares), as for the communication service, it was found that the deficit amounted to (20157 lines), which resulted in Neglect in this sector, and here it is necessary to form special committees from the concerned departments that monitor the progress of the process of providing services to the population on an ongoing basis and also increase the cultural awareness of the population by not exceeding and excessive services in order to maintain it continuously.
