Abstract
The study of gully erosion and the treatment of their negative effects has a Significant importance in the geomorphic studies generally in many various areas and especially in the area of our study (The gully erosion of Shabala valley pond)? It is necessary to indicate that this erosion not only leads to devastate the soil bridges erected on the desert valleys but also leads to decreasing the ground water reserves which are considered the essential resource for these areas' population, and that happens by affecting the chemical and the physical characteristics. In accordance with the research events, it has appeared that the erosions degrees and averages, according to Bergsma classification, amended by (Al-Allaf), the study region which has an area of (365.3) km2 has three levels of slot erosion, which reached (83.5)% of the total area of the region.
