Abstract
.. The current research aims to evaluate the role of the physics department laboratories in the college of education - university of qadisiyah in the educational process from the point of view of teachers, and the research determines the physics department - college of education - university of qadisiyah for the morning and evening studies for the academic year (2018-2019), and the researcher built a survey questionnaire for the individuals of the exploratory sample consisting of (15) teaching and teaching staff from the college of education - physics department and the following fields: the field of teachers, the field of laboratory building and its requirements, the field of experiments, devices, tools and laboratory materials, the field of safety and security in the laboratory, field A To manage the evaluation field, it resulted in (48) items distributed among the six fields. The results indicated the weak role of the laboratory in the educational process in the Department of Physics - College of Education - University of Qadisiyah and the lack of sufficient equipment, tools and laboratory materials, as most of the existing is damaged and outdated, the large number of students in one group and the lack of absorption by the laboratories of their numbers, and the absence of any courses develop both sides of safety and security, whether for teachers or students, and the researcher recommended to conduct educational training courses for professors explaining to them the latest teaching methods, and the need to link between the vocabulary of the subject and the student environment so that they can benefit from them in their working lives, and the establishment of modern laboratories and the expansion and modernization of the old among them, the researcher suggested conducting research that compares laboratory experiments in colleges of education and colleges of science..
