Abstract
The research aims to analyze the variation in relative humidity rates in Al-Muthanna Governorate for the summer and winter seasons, with regard to the magnitude of the variance and the nature of its spatio-temporal distribution, relative humidity is directly related to the amount of water vapor in the air and inversely related to temperature, the research concluded that there is a discrepancy in the relative humidity between the barren desert areas and the areas with vegetation cover in the study area, it increases in areas with vegetation cover due to the high amount of Evaporation / transspiration and indirect solar radiation, and decreases in barren lands devoid of vegetation cover due to the high temperatures and the absence of evaporation / transpiration.
