Abstract
The Bretton Woods conference is a very important and detailed event in the history of international relations at the monetary and financial level, as its results resulted in the collapse of the old financial system based on the exchange of all international currencies against Gold (the gold standard), after the British Pound Sterling occupied the lead among international currencies in this system, and the announcement, In doing so, the United States transformed from an economically emerging country into a dominant financial and monetary force in the new monetary system after making the dollar an international currency. How did the international community deal with the events and details of the conference.
