Abstract
Depending on the climatic data taken from the Meteorological Directorate for Palmyra city station located in Badia Al-Sham, about (215 km) from the Damascus governorate, the impact of the climatic elements represented by “temperature – precipitation – wind – humidity” was studied in the range The frequency and occurrence of dust storms that swept across the city of Palmyra over a period of (35 years) (1970-2005), by studying the correlation relationship between them using the statistical program (SPSS Statistics).
