Abstract
Indicators of rural development represent the main pillar on which planners and decision-makers depend in creating the appropriate conditions for comprehensive development events with their social and economic dimensions, up to the stage of social welfare in the countryside by upgrading the level of educational and health services, as well as improving the economic reality and raising the level of per capita income. The study is to measure these indicators in the district of Samawah and their suitability to local and international standards in order to assess the quality of life that the residents of the study area live, and then find effective solutions that lead to achieving comprehensive development in the countryside of the district, as well as providing the basic needs of its residents. And to ensure their individual and collective security. Hence the importance of this study, as it simulates the nature of rural development indicators in Samawah district, as well as exposure to its main foundations on which the principles of integrated development are based.
