Abstract
The study aims to identify the role of depressions in the climate of Palestine, Which plays a major role in shaping the features of the Palestinian climate through the diversity of its climatic, despite its small area, The Mediterranean has a prominent impact on the diversity of its climate, and in view of the critical role that the depressions play in the climate of Palestine, Rain has a great impact on human activities in this region, so depression have been studied and analyzed in terms of their places of origin, stages and formation, And the ritual phenomena accompanying them in Palestine, their paths in the Mediterranean basin, the places of their renewal, their distribution, and the factors affecting the atmospheric depressions in Palestine, which are the astronomical and geographical location, the topography, the water bodies, the air pressure and winds, air masses and fronts, and jet currents, The study reached a set of results and recommendations that the researcher hopes will be the focus of attention of interested people, planners and decision makers.
