Abstract
Transport is one of the basic activities in human life, as man has relied on transportation since he was found on the earth, using his own energy to secure the completion of his daily activities that his survival, and the transportation system and road network are among the most important components of cities, as the transport network and its regional interconnection contribute to Enhancing the adequacy and performance of the city for its functions, network is one of the elements of linking the settlements and the system of all interactions. The study revealed that the total length of the paved roads in Al-Rumaitha district is about 299.4 km, and the density of the road network in relation to the area was 0.24, while its density for the population was about 124.44, while the density of the road network in relation to vehicles reached 43.68. The transportation network in Rumaitha district is close to the lower boundaries and far from the upper bound of the connection, and this is evidence that the road network efficiency is low.
