جورج فوكس وجمعية الأصدقاء (الكويكرز) 1624-1691
Abstract
The research discussed studying the character of George Fox. He emphasized Fox's preaching that true Christianity does not exist in doctrines and rituals, but rather in the direct inspiration obtained by man from the Holy Spirit. In the year 1649 he founded a new religious association, which he called the "Society of Friends". As for the name Quakers, which means trembling, his followers later called it upon themselves because they were trembling before the greatness of God. With the persecution of the English, their association flourished thanks to the English Sheriff William Bin, who was able to obtain from the English government the state of Pennsylvania in North America to collect the debts of his father, so he collected the scattered Quakers in America, and transferred many of them from England. And there in 1689 they gained freedom of belief.
