Abstract

Persia and Iraq faced a series of foreign attacks and occupations that left traces on the infrastructure and society, and among these attacks was the Timurid occupation led by Tamerlane, who helped end the Jalairian occupation and the Turkmen occupation, represented by the two Tribes of Al_Qara Qoyunlu and Aq Qoyunlu, Women played an important role during this period of time full of historical events, and their roles were divided between the positive and the negative some os woman who pushed her son or husband to the forefront And another criminal who conspired to kill her relative. People and plots were suppressed, while we find another one, namely Kohrshad Khatun, which contributed to the stability of the Timurid state and immortalized herself in a mosque that still bears her name in Mashhad Razavi, and there are those who took power such as Jan Begum Khatun and others who contributed to the killing, such as Seljuk Khatun. Accordingly, the research was divided into two sections: the first shed light on Timurid women and the second focused on the Emirati Turkmen women, Al_Qara Qoyunlu and Aq Qoyunlu, and it is an attempt to clarify the importance of women in political life during that historical period.
