Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effect of analyzing the Qur’anic texts on the acquisition of rhetorical concepts when students of the Arabic language department. To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers set the following null hypothesis: There is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of students who studied in the method of analyzing Qur’anic texts and the average scores of students who studied rhetoric in the traditional way. To achieve the aims of the research, the researchers chose the university students, College of Education, Department of Arabic Language, the first stage of the academic year 2018-2019. When Division (B) represented the control group that would study the subject matter of rhetoric according to the traditional method, and by (31) male and female students, the researchers conducted a parity between the students of the two research groups in the following variables: the female student’s chronological age calculated by months, the intelligence test and the acquisition of concepts test. After determining the subject to study during the experiment period, the researchers formulated the behavioral goals for the topics, and the researchers prepared plans for the topics to be taught during the trial period, and the researchers studied the two research groups themselves during the trial period, and after the end of the experiment, the researchers applied the test of stealing rhetorical concepts, characterized by With honesty and consistency, after analyzing the results statistically, the two researchers reached: There is a difference between the two groups (experimental, and control) in stealing concepts, and in favor of stealing the experimental group. In the light of the results reached by the researchers to a set of results, recommendations and proposals, including: Conducting a study similar to the current study conducted on students of Arabic language departments in the Faculties of Arts.
