Abstract
The research dealt with an important aspect of our Arab heritage, exemplified by the steadfast poet Qatana, one of the poets of the Umayyad era, who did not obtain his fortune from study and analysis, and this is what I concluded upon reviewing a number of studies and studies on poets of the Umayyad era. From narrative touches, this research came to find out about these poetic texts and interrogate them; To clarify its anecdotal elements with a research right (Elements of anecdotal structure in the poetry of Thabit Qatanat Al-Ataki),The research included a preface devoted to talking about the poet and his news through a brief appearance, then a brief definition of the term narrative structure was presented, and then the basic study came in a detailed study of the elements of narrative construction in the poet’s poetry represented by personality, then event, dialogue, place, and time, making a conclusion Briefly research has its most important results.
