Abstract
Many individuals suffer after the election of political candidates and they have many psychological problems, including loss of hope, feeling helpless and anger, for several reasons, including poor statesmanship. Therefore, the citizen must be knowledgeable about political affairs and able to take decisions that are compatible with his personal and social interests, which makes him feel more With happiness and well-being, as many studies have indicated that there are psychological and social factors that affect the level of political statesmanship of the voter, and if the political acumen is the ability of the individual to assimilate a lot of complex political information and organize it internally to form knowledge of broad beliefs, then the politically experienced individual has the ability to detect deception and artificial manifestations, and in order to achieve the research objectives, the researcher prepared the political acumen scale, which consists of (15) paragraphs, and the psychometric conditions of the above scale were verified, as the validity of the scale was verified through the apparent validity and validity construct, and the reliability coefficient was also reached by re-testing 0.82) and Fakronbach (0.89), and after applying the scale to a sample of (576) voters, they were chosen in a random stratified method from The research has been done Continued, and in addition to the above, the current research has reached the following results: -
