Abstract
The study of personalities has received special attention from historians and researchers in the academic community because of their effective role and great influence in revealing many secrets, mysteries and historical facts. Eleanor Roosevelt is considered one of these influential figures in American history, because of her active role as the first lady for the longest presidential period in the history of the United States of America, which lasted for twelve years. It left a clear impact through its political and social activities and its role in supporting African Americans, in addition to the demand for women's rights, and the need to provide suitable working conditions for women.
