Abstract
The problem of the study can be summarized in the role that the Palestinian media can play in raising the level of environmental awareness, and managing it for the development of a Palestinian citizen who treats the environment in a good and sustainable way, based on the international experience in environmental protection, and the general role of the media in meeting the challenges of the modern environment. The study was based on the inductive approach. The study came up with a set of results, one of the most important results is that the Palestinian media in its extensive media coverage of environmental issues contributes to putting an end to the encroachments and crimes committed against our environment.
