Pervez Musharraf’s coup came on November 12, 1999, to end the second period of Nawaz Sharif’s rule after the confrontation with India intensified in the Kargil Mountains crisis and Nawaz’s settlement by issuing orders to withdraw the Pakistani forces without consulting the Pakistani military leaders. After the events of September 11, Pervez Musharraf stopped to the side of the United States of America in its war against terrorism, explaining that he had no choice. I sent him messages urging him to stand with the United States of America, so it was clear that you were either with us in our war against terrorism or against us, so this decision was taken by the alliance with it and also the decision was taken to preserve the unity of Pakistan.
