Abstract
The discourse in contemporary theory is based on several principles, including: the principle of cooperation, the principle of politeness, and the principle of the face, which has methods and mechanisms adopted by the imam in both sides: positive and negative after explaining their concept, and the research concluded that the upper discourse in the approach to rhetoric is an authentic discourse that still represents the roots of contemporary theories, and it is still an original source for scholars as if - with many studies - it is still a virgin that has not yet been raised.
