Abstract
Foreign trips to Iraq are an important source of historical research. The travel books mentioned many details about the societies in which they were written, so we focused on the study of the coexistence of religion in Iraqi society during the Ottoman era. And how the relationship was between the Baghdadi community with various Malays and how did the Ottoman state relate to religious minorities, so the research was a shedding light of a certain period of time from (1573 - 1875) and how foreign travelers assessed the idea of cohabitation Through him The study also reflected the image of Iraqi society and the nature of religious and communal coexistence during that period.
