Abstract
This study examines the rules of international humanitarian law relating to the protection of victims of international and non-international armed conflicts. The law provides for the full protection of groups that are not connected to the battle. The rules of this law are in principle not to discriminate against victims. The law gives all groups basic guarantees in an attempt to preserve the minimum rights provided by human rights law, However, this does not preclude the special treatment of groups considered the most vulnerable in times of armed conflict, and of these groups are women, Where women suffer from several violations committed against them during times of war, suffering from the lack of the most basic human rights should be enjoyed at all times, The study dealt with the basic rules of international humanitarian law that provide legal protection for women during armed conflicts in addition to the role of international organizations and conventions in providing protection for them, And the extent of the legal responsibility for violations of the rights of women in time of war. This study provided an exhaustive analysis of the most serious violations of women's rights under international law. The study also presented the necessary solutions to reduce these violations and provide protection for women during wars.
